According to the Concerned Citizens of Greenwood Heights website; South Slope, Greenwood Heights and Windsor Terrace will soon be participating in the city’s expanding Organic Waste Pilot Program. The program is set to begin in early October.
The DSNY Organics collection will take place on the same day as the current recycling schedule.
NYC.GOV has a plethora of information regarding this organic waste pilot program.
It’s true! The playground construction is finished, and the park is welcoming the Greenwood Heights CSA back into the fold. So, beginning this Saturday, July 6th, all CSA members should come to Slope Park to pick up their shares. Continue reading
